Casual Goal Keeper Coach – LFC Foundation – Anfield Sports & Community Centre Job Introduction We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a Casual Goalkeeper Coach, Foundation Phase. You will be responsible for developing a multi-disciplinary environment to maximise the development of goalkeepers across sites. Plan, deliver, record, and evaluate coaching sessions in line with Foundation’s goalkeeping coaching programme. What will you be doing? To produce session plans for all goalkeeper coaching sessions in line with LFC Foundation Philosophy Liaise with the age group coach and player development lead on all matters relating to goalkeepers. To be responsible for your age group, keeping records of players progression and producing reports for both players, parents & other coaches Work with the different phase coaches to enable a smooth transition for players to experience when going through the pathway. Strengthen the goalkeeping pathway with structured opportunities. Attend all relevant In-Service training for Coaches and CPD updated. To attend all Multi-Disciplinary Team and staff meetings. To devise and support delivery of Individual player development plans. Ensure you are aware of and keep updated, regarding Safeguarding and best practice policies. To ensure that the safety of participants, volunteers and staff is always prioritised. Who are we looking for? To be successful in this role, you will have recent and relevant experience in goalkeeper coaching in a youth sports performance environment, ideally working within girls and boys games. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as being reliable, conscientious and have a flexible approach. You will understand the pressures and commitments required for players and the understanding of support strategies for players emotional needs. You will be able to demonstrate the skill to create a positive working relationship with all key stakeholders and can work collaboratively in a team in a professional and pressurised environment. You will have the ability to create an ethos which promotes high aspirations and achievement for all.
