The role

  • Key point of contact within a defined geographical area; engage effectively and respond to issues, queries or opportunities from key stakeholders including councillors, key partners, businesses, local residents and community organisation groups.
  • Manage projects and funding, enforce regulations and ensure high standards of service, safety and customer care.
  • Work within a designated area of the city with main office based at Newton Road, L13 3HS and/or Cunard Building, L3 1AH.
  • Organise and support community events, projects and initiatives that actively promote sustainable environmental and social improvements in neighbourhoods.
  • Have experience of working at a similar level in a related field (Neighbourhood or Environmental related services); flexible approach; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
