This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a senior leadership role shaping the future of Liverpool’s most prestigious civic venues. We are seeking a visionary, operationally astute leader to join our innovative City Halls team, with a primary focus on the iconic St George’s Hall.
As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining driving excellence in event delivery and ensuring uncompromising standards of safety and service. This is more than an operational role it’s a chance to lead transformation, inspire teams, and influence how Liverpool’s landmark venues operate at a national standard.
The role:
- Provide strategic leadership for venue operations across City Halls, setting the benchmark for operational excellence and compliance.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams, including Building & Event Supervisors and Venue Operations Support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Shape operational frameworks, implementing robust Standard Operating Procedures, training programmes, and resource strategies to future-proof service delivery.
- Champion health & safety governance, risk management, and business continuity planning across all venues.
- Act as the senior liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional client experience.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, technical oversight, and operational resilience to meet evolving industry standards.
