An exciting opportunity has become available for 3 Project Managers to work within the Transport Infrastructure Programmes Team. The role will support a crucial part of Liverpool City Region Combined Authorities capacity to develop, manage and implement a broad array of important transport infrastructure projects across the Liverpool City Region.
We are seeking suitably experienced, enthusiastic and driven individuals to join the Transport Infrastructure Programmes teams to deliver a range of transport projects including Rail, Bus and Highways.
You will be required to manage a portfolio of projects at various stages of development and implementation in order to successfully achieve the strategic public transport objectives and goals of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Your role will entail effectively managing the project delivery, finances, quality, risk and benefits realisation of railway related development projects.
Furthermore, the role will require the management of complex stakeholder relationships with bodies such as; Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Bus operators, Local Authorities, Consultants, Contractors and the public in order to successfully guide projects through to completion.
The successful candidate will ideally possess a Degree or have suitable relevant experience in a relevant subject such as; Engineering; Construction Management; Project Management or Transport logistics. Be competent and demonstrably experienced in managing projects within recognised formal project management frameworks and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful project delivery – preferably within the transport industry, though other industries are also acceptable.
