An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Operative to join the Maintenance Delivery team based at the Asset Management depot in Wallasey. This is a great opportunity to work on some of Liverpool City Region's key and historic assets such as Kingsway and Queensway tunnels and other key transport infrastructure across the region.

The role will primarily assist in keeping the Mersey Tunnels and wider LCRCA estate safe, clean and maintained to a high standard and is part of a team working across a 24/7 operation on a 12 hour shift roster.

About The Person

The ideal candidate will hold as a minimum a relevant NVQ Level 1; City & Guilds Level 1 in construction or engineering field with experience of working in a construction or engineering environment. The person must have knowledge and awareness of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, policy and procedures to ensure safe working. Finally, it is essential that the appointed candidate has a full UK manual driving licence.

Key Essential Criteria

  • Experience of working in a construction or engineering environment
  • Evidence of awareness and an understanding of working safely
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (manual)
