A vacancy has arisen for a Structures and Highways (S&H) Maintenance Programme Lead within the Maintenance Delivery team based at the Asset Management location in Wallasey. This role is integral to the Maintenance Delivery Team who will act as the Principal Contractor for LCRCA when delivering maintenance and projects across all Structures and Highways assets. This role will be responsible for all S&H asset performance by developing and implementing planned maintenance programs and delivering internal investment projects on time and in budget. This role will contribute to strategic asset management and lifecycle of assets across the LCRCA estate.
The S&H team are the Statutory Compliance duty holders for all S&H related activities and will strive to continually improve health and safety of the team and trades by innovative use of technology and reviewing maintenance practices. The S&H Lead will report to the Maintenance Delivery Manager and supervise a team of engineers by setting standards then managing activities and performance. Working hours are flexible across a 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a degree in a civil or structural discipline and/or a proven track record of efficiently managing S&H maintenance programs, teams and contractors to a high standard, whilst ensuring that the health, safety and wellbeing of the team, customers and the public, is at the heart of everything you do. We are looking for candidates who are team players with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, and who are committed to upholding our core organisational values: LCR First, Respect, and Action Focus.
