About The Role
Reporting to the MSE Investment Programme Lead, the Senior Officer (Electrical) will assist in delivering an integrated electrical engineering services maintenance function for existing and refurbished assets within a multi‑disciplinary team of Mechanical, Systems and Electrical Engineers. The post holder ensures functions are delivered on time, within budget and conform to client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical engineering maintenance projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
- Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Oversee mechanical plant refurbishment projects.
- Manage contractor and supplier relationships to meet schedules and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and technical specifications.
- Ensure statutory and non‑statutory compliance for electrical systems.
- Develop and implement capital projects related to electrical engineering.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or significant industry experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering systems, maintenance practices and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing electrical engineering projects and coordinating resources for planned & reactive maintenance activities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team delivering M+E projects.
- Financial management skills, health and safety awareness, and contractor & supplier management proficiency.
