The post will provide professional project management support to the Race Equality Hub, working with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic community members across the LCR, public sector partners, Third Sector Organisations and the business sector to drive forward race equality in the LCR, through the recently adopted LCR Anti-Racism Strategy.
The Race Equality Hub is led by a Programme Director and will comprise of three Strategic Partnership Managers who are responsible for working with partners and stakeholders to develop and deliver active anti-racism strategies that both support the economic advancement of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities in the LCR and promote racial justice.
The successful candidate will provide project management support to assist the work of the REH by coordinating meetings, community events, conferences and team communication and logistics.
We are seeking an individual with professional project support expertise to coordinate and support the delivery of key work streams for the REH. We are looking for someone to support relationships with Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority Community members, external stakeholders and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the LCR Anti Racism Strategy and to support a range of activity to promote economic advancement.
This post is a key role in supporting the team who have lived experience as members of the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Community and a range of professional experiences in effective administration and monitoring of high-profile projects and programmes.
