About The Role
Are you inspired by an opportunity to work on developments that will have a real impact on communities within the Liverpool City Region? As a Development Analyst for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority you will support a range of exciting and high‑profile housing, transport and regeneration projects. The post holder will support the Development Team with the review and the development of our future regeneration schemes and help develop our emerging pipeline of place‑based projects for suitable future funding streams. The post holder will work with local authorities, developers and external partners in preparing and developing projects and business cases. You will be responsible for supporting the development of strategies with partners to overcome barriers to housing delivery and specialise in the specific needs of the localities you sponsor, providing insight and expertise to project promoters on how to maximise impact and ensure delivery. This role sits in the Development team within the Investment and Delivery Directorate, which has responsibility of investing in place‑based regeneration projects that are deliverable, affordable and value for money. Projects will include town centre regeneration schemes, place‑making, and interventions that enable housing and transport investment.

The successful candidate will be able to see the opportunities to add value and maximise the use of funding for regeneration and be delivery focused. They will be confident working with partners both internal and external, have strong communication skills and the ability to lead on some projects. Team members should be self‑starting, collaborative and ambitious, offer fresh ideas, and demonstrate a commitment to evidence‑based investment, and a determination to deliver for the people of the Liverpool City Region.
Essential Criteria
- 1 year or more relevant professional experience in housing, regeneration or transport
- Working under pressure, meeting deadlines and showing resilience
- Working effectively in a team, with attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile
