The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is proud to be one of 18 European municipalities selected to join Bloomberg Philanthropies’ prestigious Innovation Teams (i-teams) programme. We are now seeking a Programme Lead to spearhead this transformative initiative.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team of experts focused on solving some of the region’s most complex city region priorities, from reducing household energy burdens to accelerating the shift to green transport. You’ll work directly with senior leaders, including the Metro Mayor and the Executive Director for Public Sector Innovation, to deliver high-impact, resident-centred solutions.
About The Person
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A strategic thinker with a track record of leading complex programmes in public sector innovation, policy, or service design.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across public, private, and community sectors.
- Experienced in establishing and managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaborative, inclusive working environments.
- Experienced in working effectively and collaboratively with senior leadership and management including across departments whether in government, community, and/or private sector
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change in fast-paced settings.
- Passionate about making a tangible difference to people’s lives through bold, evidence-based interventions.
