About the Role
The purpose of the role is to lead and operate within a large flexible multi-functional and multi-site operation (Bus Station and Travel Centres) to support the provision of high-quality customer facilities and services, 365 days a year.
You will be based at one of our Hub sites, these include Queen Square, Liverpool One, St Helens, Bootle, Huyton and Birkenhead.
Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work at any Hub location across the Merseyside area as and when required incorporating Travel Centre and Bus Station activities across the Merseyside area.
The role includes ticket sales assurance activity ensuring the integrity of all ticketing transactions.
The is a fixed term vacancy until February 2026.
Your shift pattern will consist of one week on (Monday to Sunday inclusive) and one week off and working an average of 17.5 hours per week.
Hours: Monday to Sunday shift work, including Bank Holidays. Various work patterns with longest scope of service covering 06.45 hrs to 20.15 hrs Monday – Saturday, 07.30 hrs to 20.15 hrs Sunday.
About the person
You will be an experienced manager with a proven track record of leadership in customer-facing operations, possessing a strong ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
You will be able to dynamically supervise 6 locations simultaneously using existing communication methods, providing help and guidance to staff in a bus station environment and operating travel centres in each of those locations.
