The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) is seeking to recruit a Housing Retrofit Officer to support evolving policy, targets and funded projects as part of nationwide Government initiatives, and the ambitious LCRCA Corporate Plan. Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of residents across the City Region and wider; supporting the development and delivery of projects focusing on decarbonisation of buildings to generate economic growth, social and wellbeing benefits and contribute to climate action and net zero targets?

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has solid experience within housing decarbonisation and retrofit. We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of public sector governance, accustomed to developing multiple collaborative stakeholder relationships and working with grant funding agreements, parameters and associated reporting, to help shape outcomes to meet the needs of Liverpool City Region.

Essential Skills
  • Relevant degree and certified CPD, training and qualifications demonstrating commitment to housing decarbonisation and the retrofit industry.
  • Relevant housing retrofit industry work experience.
  • Experience working with funding bodies on publicly funded projects and associated reporting.
  • Ability to meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification within your CV.
