About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Combined Authority’s public service innovation and early intervention work.
This role is at the forefront of joining up public services, working across organisational, professional, and geographical boundaries to address complex, multi-stakeholder challenges.
This work is central to the CA’s devolution ambitions working closely with Government to deliver on recent announcements about the integration of public services into Mayoral Strategic Authorities and an increased role on prevention related activity to improve outcomes for residents in the city region.
About The Person
We are looking for a senior leader who can drive forward new priorities and programmes across the city region.
Establishing good relationships with senior stakeholders, working strategically and with experience of leading change across organisational boundaries the postholder will be able to transform how public services support residents.
- Key Essential Criteria
- Strong and varied record of achievement at a senior level in relevant complex political environments, preferably in local and/or central government.
- Experience of bringing about systems change in local / central government.
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate others within a culture of proactive service delivery and continuous improvement.
