About the Role

Mersey Ferries are one of Merseyside’s most visited tourist attractions offering River Explorer Cruises, Evening Cruises, Manchester Ship Canal Cruises as well as our standard commuter service. With our new Vessel - The Roal Daffodil launching soon we are looking to add to our Team. Working at any of our terminals and on our Vessels, you will be loading and unloading passengers and ensuring the Vessel berths and disembarks safely as part of the Marine Team. Our Ferry terminals are located at Liverpool Pier Head, Seacombe or Woodside when it reopens. You will have a flexible approach to working hours as there are various different shift times at all our locations and on the Vessel. You will receive full training to work on board our vessels, providing resilience and support to the existing vessel crews. Uniform will be provided.

About the person

You will have a high standard of personal presentation, some marine knowledge, a friendly disposition, an outgoing personality and be genuinely committed to providing excellent customer service. Some customer service experience is required and would preferably include dealing with customers in a face-to-face environment. The suitable candidate will have Health and safety experience in an operational role. The right attitude and great communication skills are also important in this role as well as a calm approach and confident manner.
