The role: The School Organisation Manager will lead the planning and delivery of school organisation across Liverpool. This is a key position, ensuring the city has the right school places in the right locations, now and in the future.

Key responsibilities:

  • The School Organisation Manager will contribute to the School Organisation Policy and Pupil Place Planning Strategy.
  • As School Organisation Manager, the post holder will oversee pupil forecasts and manage statutory school changes.
  • The post holder will advise Schools Forum on Growth Fund and Falling Rolls Fund.
  • The School Organisation Manager will prepare business cases for capital investment and contribute to housing and infrastructure planning.
  • The post holder will work with schools, MATs, dioceses and partners to deliver joined-up solutions.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong knowledge of school organisation legislation and funding.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience of presenting cases to senior decision makers.
