The role
The Works Supervisor (Major Works) is responsible for ensuring highway projects across Liverpool are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with HSEQ standards, legislation, and contractual requirements. The role involves supervising site activities, managing works supervisors, auditing contractor performance, and acting as the NEC Supervisor to oversee quality, defects, and contract compliance. It requires strong leadership, coordination with project managers and stakeholders, and oversight of programme progress, risks, and budgets, while maintaining high standards in safety, environmental performance, and workmanship across all highways maintenance and improvement schemes.
