Role

The role of the Senior ICT Project Manager is to provide the ICT & Digital department with the resource required to implement transformational programmes of work across the LCC estate. Delivery of complex ICT & Digital solutions across the department and LCC estate to defined cost, quality and delivery parameters in line with project management principles is expected. As a Senior ICT Project Manager you will interpret customer requirements, identify project objectives, and confirm client expectations. Specifying project scope, producing and maintaining detailed plans, risks and issues logs, and agreeing budgets with clients, as well as effectively leading internal and external work groups to deliver project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex ICT & Digital solutions across the department and LCC estate to defined cost, quality, and delivery parameters.
  • Interpret customer requirements, identify project objectives, and confirm client expectations.
  • Specify scope, produce and maintain detailed plans, risk and issue logs, and agree budgets with clients.
  • Lead internal and external work groups to achieve project objectives.
  • Lead transformational change across the ICT & Digital department and wider LCC estate.

Qualifications

  • Qualified project manager with strong knowledge of Local Government Services.
  • Detailed understanding of Agile and Prince2 project management frameworks.
  • Track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong drive and passion to make a difference in a dynamic, varied environment.
