The predicted salary is between 23000 - 27000 £ per year.
This is an exciting time to join our team as we go through a period of transformation. We are looking for committed individuals to start immediately, working across Liverpool at our Lifestyles Leisure Centres. You will be following a set work pattern, to assist in the efficient operation of a Lifestyles centre to include all internal and external areas including: fitness gym, swimming pool, front of house, sports hall, specific sports areas and all ancillary areas. Allowances will be paid where applicable.
The role of Recreational Attendants will be to provide customers with a polite, friendly and efficient service, welcoming all members and visitors whilst giving due attention to customer care at all times and to ensure all operational procedures are implemented and carried out in accordance with legal requirements and the city council's health and safety policies and procedures. This will include site specific documents to include P.S.O.P (Pool Safety Operating Procedure), E.A.P (Emergency Action Plan), NOP (Normal Operating Plan).
The Recreational Attendants will conduct sales tours of the facilities and give guidance to prospective customers as to the type of membership category and other services best suited for their needs and assist with the implementation of new technology and business development initiatives as well as to ensure the general cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, safety and preparation of the facilities as part of a flexible multi-discipline team.
As the Recreational Attendant you will assemble and dismantle all equipment deemed necessary for the centres programme of activities, control and supervise bathers and aquatic activities in accordance with site specific health and safety documentation. Along with undertaking NPLQ training once per month in accordance with RLSS (Royal Lifesaving Society) guidance and ensure personal mandatory qualification is kept valid and to comply with the Sport & Recreation Services safeguarding and child protection policies.
Positions Available:
- Full Time: 15 x 35 hour posts
- Part Time: 20 x 20 hour posts
12 month fixed term positions with the opportunity to apply for a permanent contract.
