The role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Officer to join our Transactional Services team and play a key role in maintaining and improving service standards across a diverse range of council functions. As a Quality Officer, you will undertake quality assurance and monitoring activities within Transactional Services including Benefits, Council Tax and Business Rates, working closely with team leaders and service managers to ensure that decisions, processes and customer interactions are accurate, compliant and delivered to the highest standards. You will also support staff development through coaching and mentoring, helping colleagues build knowledge and confidence in their roles. Significant experience of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Council Tax and Business Rates is required in order to perform the quality function and to support duties such as Housing Benefit subsidy administration.
