Responsibilities
- Alcohol, tobacco & vape enforcement
- Age‑restricted sales enforcement
- Fair Trading & Intellectual Property enforcement
- Food Standards enforcement
- Weights & Measures enforcement
- Product Safety enforcement
- Scams and Fraud Prevention enforcement
- Animal Feed enforcement
- Work closely with other enforcement agencies within Liverpool City Council and external partners such as the Police, HMRC, and Border Force
- Apply legal knowledge to resolve problems, lead and undertake investigations, and attend court / committee proceedings
- Work flexibly, with regular evenings and weekends, meeting strict deadlines and handling confrontational situations with good interpersonal and customer care skills
