The role of Process Developer is a key element of our Digital Technology team. The successful candidate will transform how residents access council services, designing and delivering end‑to‑end digital solutions that place residents at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Service Design – work with service areas to design and improve user‑focused digital processes, ensuring services are simple, accessible and efficient.
  • Low‑Code Development (Jadu) – build and configure workflows within Jadu case management, delivering services using a low‑code‑first approach.
  • Process Transformation – redesign existing services to support end‑to‑end digital delivery with minimal manual intervention.
  • Integration & Enhancement – use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to enhance forms and interfaces, supporting integration with wider systems where required.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing – lead on testing and quality assurance of digital services, ensuring solutions are robust, reliable and ready for release.
  • Support & Continuous Improvement – monitor live services, resolve issues and proactively identify opportunities to improve performance and user experience.
  • Collaboration – work closely with Digital Technology teams, UX and service stakeholders to deliver consistent and high‑quality outcomes.
