Responsibilities
- Lead the development, design and delivery of a range of highway projects and interventions on the city’s highway network
- Provide technical expertise, project management and leadership to ensure high-quality designs within budget and schedule
- Ensure designs comply with recognised design standards and best practice; review external design work commissioned by the Council
- Prepare highway design solutions and align with strategic programming requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive infrastructure outcomes
Key requirements
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience leading delivery of highway design services and projects under tight budget and time constraints
