- Role Responsibilities
- Provide polite, friendly, and efficient service to all members and visitors, ensuring customer care at all times.
- Implement and carry out operational procedures in accordance with legal requirements and the council’s health and safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with site‑specific documents, including the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and Normal Operating Plan (NOP).
- Carry out inductions and prepare appropriate training programmes for customers.
- Lead small‑group fitness classes as required.
- Ensure that fitness studios are secure, safe, and properly maintained for the public at all times.
- Implement cleaning and maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance work.
- Report defects to appropriate suppliers.
