Liverpool City Council invites applications for the role of Family Help Counsellor. The role is based in the Family Support Team and focuses on providing therapeutic counselling to school‑age children and young people, supporting families to improve relationships and emotional wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver therapeutic counselling support to children and young people.
- Complete formulations and assessments to develop bespoke therapeutic support plans.
- Work collaboratively with parents/carers to enhance family relationships.
- Implement counselling interventions that promote improved emotional wellbeing.
