The predicted salary is between 23000 - 25000 £ per year.
We are recruiting a Driver Operative to join our Residential cleansing team within the Neighbourhood and Housing Directorate. In this role you will drive and operate a range of company vehicles, undertake manual and mechanical plant and equipment operations, and use technical devices to record activities and assist in improving service.
Responsibilities
- Pick litter from public streets, highways, grassed areas/verges, and empty street litter bins city-wide.
- Remove faeces and dead animals as part of normal duties.
- Remove weed growth, clear leaves and address roadside concerns.
- Respond to reactive tasks and provide a targeted and flexible response to environmental problems reported.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements associated with street cleansing operations.
