Based within an office environment with the flexibility of hybrid working, this role places you at the very front door of safeguarding, where your decisions and professional judgement have an immediate and meaningful impact on the lives of adults at risk. You will be working in a dynamic, supportive team of skilled and passionate professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality, timely responses to safeguarding concerns, ensuring that people receive the help and protection they need as quickly as possible. In this role, you will receive and triage safeguarding referrals, carefully assessing risk, gathering information, and deciding on the most appropriate course of action. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care as well as partner agencies, sharing information and providing guidance to ensure safe and effective outcomes. The work is varied and engaging, requiring strong decision‑making skills, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment where no two calls or referrals are the same. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced social worker with a solid understanding of safeguarding and adult social care who enjoys working as part of a team that values innovation, professional curiosity, and continuous learning. The role:

• As a Social Worker you will provide safeguarding, supporting and promoting the well‑being of adults with care
• As a Social Worker you will plan and co‑produce individual support plans, with regular monitoring and reviews of these support plans
• Your demonstrable knowledge as a Social Worker will be to effectively manage your own complex and varied caseload whilst managing the reputation of the Department and Council and complying with national and service procedures and guidance
