Business Architect role at Liverpool City Council
Overview
Liverpool City Council is implementing an integrated ERP system that will transform Finance, Human Resources, and Payroll functions. The ERP will be built using Microsoft Dynamics for Finance and Resources, and MHR i-Trent for HR and Payroll. A team of experts is required to work with EY to deliver the integrated solution and to shape how we work to deliver the best outcomes for staff and residents. The Business Architect will own the design of the future ERP solution and support Council leadership and functional teams to position and deliver the transformation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall design workstream for the ERP transformation and ensure adopt-not-adapt principles wherever possible.
- Collaborate with HR & Payroll, Finance & Procurement leads to facilitate key design decisions across the business.
- Guide the Council to understand the impact of decisions and support leadership in decision-making related to the design and implementation.
- Work in partnership with internal subject matter experts and EY to shape the future of how we work.
Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of 3 ERP transformation programmes delivered, with leadership experience in senior roles.
Contract and Role Details
This role is fixed term to own the design of the future ERP solution and to support the council through the transformation. End date: 30 April 2027.
