Responsibilities:

  • The role involves driving and operating heavy goods vehicles and other vehicles in line with relevant legislation, company policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for vehicle checks, using handheld equipment to record and document activities, adhering to health and safety procedures, and supporting both planned and reactive operational tasks.
  • Undertaking operative functions such as presenting items for collection in the vehicle using appropriate tools and safe manual handling methods, and where appropriate safely operating the vehicle mechanism for loading and emptying and returning receptacles to place of origin once emptied.

Qualifications:

  • We’re looking for experienced HGV drivers who hold a Category C licence and a Driver Qualification Card, with knowledge of health and safety and previous HGV driving experience in a work environment.
