Job Title

Driver Operative

Location & Working Hours

  • Citywide
  • 35 Hours Per Week, Monday - Friday 07:45am to 15:15pm

Permanent Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of grounds maintenance activities including cleansing, pruning/shrubbery maintenance, weed control, grassland & meadow management, herbicide application, sports turf maintenance, and tree lifting.
  • Work across highways, green spaces, recreational sites, and cemeteries using expertise to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality maintenance operations.
  • Focus on productivity, support colleagues with routine and ad‑hoc tasks, and continually improve sites for stakeholders.
  • Work safely, proactively, and with urgency to deliver best value to customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Hold a full UK driving licence (category B).
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements associated with the role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with good verbal and written communication skills.
