We are seeking a passionate and skilled Deaf Education Instructor (DEI) to join our team, supporting deaf children, young people, and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by promoting inclusive practice, improving outcomes, and developing communication through British Sign Language (BSL).
- Provide highly specialised, practical support, including facilitating language development, reinforcing curriculum access through BSL, and empowering families to build communication skills so deaf children are fully included in both school and home life.
- Work under the direction of the Deaf Resource Base Lead Teacher, playing a key role in delivering high‑quality BSL support, providing Deaf Awareness training, and working collaboratively with schools and families.
- Help break down barriers, promote understanding of deafness, and ensure deaf learners thrive both academically and socially.
