Who You Are

You are an experienced and registered children’s social worker with a history as a Practice Development Officer, capable of mentoring learners within the Workforce Development Team. As a practice educator, your past roles have involved designing, developing, and leading newly qualified social worker programs. You bring extensive knowledge of children’s legislation, case management, and social care policies, alongside significant experience in supervising and mentoring social care workforce members. Your passion for promoting good practice is evident in your willingness to undertake audits and support the Quality Assurance Service.

What the job involves

In this role, you will develop and deliver robust learning programs for Continuous Professional Development for our social care workforce, including ASYE, Apprenticeships, and Step-ups. You will confidently design and deliver high-quality training sessions, utilizing your comprehensive understanding of relevant policies and frameworks. Supporting other Practice Educators, you will also mentor and supervise workforce members. The role demands a commitment to work on site at least three times per week, requiring residency within the Liverpool area. This three-month minimum placement offers £42 per hour under ltd status and involves maintaining flexibility depending on diary arrangements.
