LiveRamp is looking for a Sales Engineer/Sales Solution Architect to join the commercial team responsible for the Data Collaboration platform in international (non-US) markets. The position will be a key member of the team, providing technical expertise on both our own products but also the technologies our prospective clients use to manage their customer’s data. The role involves helping prospective clients understand both how our products work and how they can be integrated with the rest of their enterprise architecture. In addition to becoming a trusted adviser to our clients, the role also then helps to ensure a smooth transition for new clients into the implementation phase.
LiveRamp’s technologies are available as both SaaS LiveRamp hosted and increasingly as composable modules and as such our technical pre-sales team provide regular feedback to the product managers on new feature enhancements and potential client adoption.
Key Responsibilities:- Play a key role (technical pre-sales) in the sale of the LiveRamp Data Collaboration solutions.
- Deliver product demos, lead technical discovery and translate business strategy to technical configuration.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of LiveRamp products and services as well as a working knowledge of public cloud infrastructure, data engineering and customer data analytics products.
- Act as a technical point of contact for IT and data analytics/science stakeholders within prospective clients.
- Identify potential new use cases and design methodology for selling and implementing across prospective clients.
- Support creation of proof of concepts for strategic clients.
- Develop broad understanding of key technologies and trends within customer data management and marketing, including Clean Rooms for advertising/marketing, Data lakes, warehouses, Martech - CDP, campaign management, AdTech - DSP, SSP and walled gardens solutions, ETL and Data Operations platforms, Public clouds, Data analytics platforms.
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline preferred.
- 3+ years client-facing technical consulting experience (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Engineer, etc.).
- Advanced AI Literacy: Proficiency in utilizing Generative AI tools (e.g., LLMs, coding assistants) to accelerate workflows, prototype solutions, and enhance productivity.
- You are comfortable with true ambiguity; within international markets we act like a startup to drive growth.
- You have strong communication skills; making complex concepts understandable to a variety of different business and technical audiences.
- English language.
- Desirable: Experience working in public cloud, ideally Google Cloud Platform, particularly relevant are general infrastructure, BigQuery and DataProc.
- Experience in the role working for a SaaS based platform vendor.
- Experience in one modern programming languages like Python, Java or Scala.
- Knowledge of AdTech ecosystem, including how data is shared within DSPs and SSPs.
- Knowledge of distributed computation like Spark or MapReduce.
- French and/or German language skill.
- Essential: Adaptable and able to cover a wide range of activities as a key role in a small multi-disciplined team.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team spread across EU, LATAM, APAC and MENA.
- Develops, maintains and demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of technical and business environments within the entire end to end solution.
- The associate is expected to be fully functional and self-directed on complex solutions.
- The associate is expected to be able to interface with high-level client stakeholders and communicate effectively, recognizing that each group demands a different level of communication / presentation skills.
- Desirable: Experience working in a product focussed organisation specialising in SaaS based application.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Maths, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline preferred.
Please note this role requires attendance in the London based office three days per week.
