Part Time Food and Drink Runner/Busser roles for our pub The Rosy Hue in Elephant and Castle (SE17 1GQ). At The Rosy Hue, we passionately believe that everyone who walks through our doors is a guest, and everyone who works here is a host. If you share this philosophy, you'll fit right in.
What would be expected of me?
- Clearing and resetting tables when needed.
- Running food and drinks to guests in a professional and friendly way.
- Clearing glasses & plates efficiently.
- Communicating effectively with both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff.
- Refilling water glasses and assisting with drink orders as needed.
- Assisting with basic bar preparation tasks such as helping to stock up fridges and back bars, filling up ice wells and cutting fruit for service.
- Upholding high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the pub.
This is an excellent way to start your hospitality career with us and we would love to take you on the journey to grow in Livelyhood. The opportunities are endless to move to a bar and floor role and up when ready. We welcome applications from 16+ for this role as it will not include late nights or sales of alcohol.

About The Rosy Hue
Opening on the corner of the new two‑acre Elephant Park development in Elephant & Castle, The Rosy Hue will be a classic neighbourhood pub, serving up delicious food all day alongside drinks and seasonal cocktails from local breweries and distilleries. The site is inspired by the rich history of the area and its 19th century Penny Gaff dancing halls, with the name inspired by the rosy glow that appears on the cheeks of those who frequented there. The front of the pub will be a social space for dining and drinking, whilst behind the arch you will find the perfect viewing for sports, live music and pub quizzes. An urban garden will be heated and protected from the elements, whilst the venue will also be dog friendly.
