You are an experienced Pub General Manager who runs the site with passion. You are committed to people – guests, your team, suppliers and charity partners. You value self‑accountability, P & L ownership and delivering a successful pub that places community and neighbourhood hospitality at its heart. The Faber Fox is an independent, neighbourhood pub located on Westow Hill in Crystal Palace. It offers a large bar and dining space featuring local food and drink, a dedicated sports area with large screens, and a heated outdoor garden and terrace.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Livelyhood’s values – Authentic, Daring, People, Lively, and Sustainable – at the pub.
- Drive sales and business growth, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Oversee front‑of‑house operations, delivering an outstanding experience for guests.
- Develop and coach managers and staff to build a high‑performing team.
- Manage the working environment, including space layout and ambience to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure health & safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
- Collaborate with suppliers for local products and manage inventory to support sales.
- Engage with local community and charity partners to strengthen the pub’s presence.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of growing business and sales in a community pub or independent operator setting.
- Front‑of‑house experience, people‑centric leadership, with a focus on coaching managers and staff.

- Experience in P & L ownership and operational accountability.
