No experience is needed. First and foremost we are looking for individuals with a great attitude and a passion for teamwork – we can train the rest. Reliability and a positive attitude are the other key ingredients we look for.
The main focus of the Bar Back working hours will be on the weekends: Fridays & Saturdays between 6pm to close. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working flexibly in a busy, fun venue. We're a genuinely friendly team and we'll certainly give you all the tools you need to be successful, whilst letting your personality shine through.
Key Duties- Stocking the Bar: Replenishing the bar with supplies such as spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes to ensure bartenders have everything they need to serve drinks quickly.
- Glassware: Collecting, cleaning, and restocking glasses, ensuring there is always enough clean glassware available.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Wiping down surfaces, clearing spills & rubbish and ensuring the bar area is tidy and presentable.
- Restocking Ice: Ensuring the ice machines are filled and ice is available for bartenders.
- Supporting Stocking: Assisting in tracking and replenishing stock throughout the shift.
- Handling Kegs and Bottles: Changing kegs when necessary and restocking bottled beer and drinks in coolers/fridges.

The Regent is part of Livelyhood pub group, an established, London-based owner, creator, and operator of inviting and independent neighbourhood pubs. We currently have 7 sites. Due to a sustainable partnership with the local school next door it also enjoys a large outdoor garden. The Regent just keeps growing and is an established Balham community favourite. The Regent is less than 2 minutes walk from Balham tube/overground station, so offers a great commute too.
