We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to lead our team in delivering great drinks, food, and unforgettable moments.

About the role

As Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager and AGM in driving the business forward, focusing on guest experience, team development, and achieving sales & KPIs.

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Deliver excellent guest experience, ensuring each guest leaves with a smile.
  • Develop and train staff, providing ongoing engagement and feedback.
  • Support the GM in attaining KPIs and sales targets.
  • Take responsibility for food and drink quality, supporting Livelyhood’s fresh food offerings.
  • Maintain high standards of service, health & safety, and compliance.

About You

  • Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest moments.
  • Experienced as an Assistant Manager in a £20k+ pub or restaurant.
  • Food‑led experience is essential; previous sport‑related experience is an advantage.
  • Collaborative, keen to work in an independent business environment.
  • Strong commitment to KPIs and supporting the GM.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary £31,394 – £35k plus tronc and bonuses.
  • Additional tronc/service payments (~£6K), making OTE £37,394k – £41k.
  • Assistant Manager bonus plan – £700 per quarter.
