Enterprise Engineering Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and customer-focused Café Assistant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about great food, exceptional coffee and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. We operate across service managed offices and residences as well as the construction team and contractors working on site so we are looking for an individual who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards in every setting. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a friendly, professional personality that helps create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

We are looking for someone who can work between Monday - Friday 7.30 am - 4 pm, shifts will vary over these days and hours. Please note that currently there is no weekend work available. If you enjoy working as part of a team and love creating quality food and coffee experiences, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the café
  • Prepare and serve fresh, home-made high-quality food and beverages
  • Create and serve barista-style coffees to a high standard
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Support the Café Manager with any events
  • Handle customer payments and operate the till
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout all café areas
  • Wash up, clear tables and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Cover the Café Manager when they are on holiday
  • Observe and comply with all Health & Safety and food hygiene requirements
  • Support the Café Manager with any additional duties as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Previous cooking and catering experience is essential
  • Barista experience and confidence using coffee machines
  • A passion for food preparation and customer service
  • A good understanding of food hygiene, allergens and health & safety legislation
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong time management and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • A professional and enthusiastic attitude
  • A “can do” mindset with the ability to contribute to an exceptional customer experience
