THE COMPANY
This events agency delivers an array of live and virtual events for global clients. Their broad portfolio includes live international events including conferences, roadshows, product launches, exhibitions, team building, business meetings, hospitality and incentives for numbers ranging from 20 – 2000 pax. Specialising in a variety of sectors such as Technology and Law, this agency works as a close-knit team ensuring an excellent service is delivered when managing events on behalf of their clients.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Venue Finding Executive to join their team to support with the end to end management of their event projects.
THE ROLE
This is a crucial role within the business to support the wider event management team in seamless execution of a wide range of events. The Venue Finding Executive will be the go to in identifying, researching, recommending and securing venues for a wide range of events. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end to end venue search process
- Building relationships with venues in the UK and internationally
- Sourcing and recommending venues aligned with requirements and budgets
- Preparing venue proposals via PowerPoint
- Researching and maintaining knowledge of new venues and industry trends
- Ensuring seamless communication with venues and stakeholders
- Attending FAM trips in the UK and internationally
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for the Venue Finding Executive role you will ideally have previous venue finding experience and/or knowledge of the events market with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. You will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
