THE COMPANY

This business is a well-established production studio group, operating multiple high-specification film and television stages across the South East. Working with leading broadcasters, streamers and production companies, they provide dry-hire studio space for a wide range of scripted, unscripted and commercial productions. With a collaborative, people-first culture and long-term clients, this is an environment where a Rigging Manager can build strong relationships, focus on safety and quality, and become a trusted technical expert on site.

THE ROLE

This is a newly created in-house position, bringing rigging and scaffold inspection capabilities into the business for the first time. The Rigging Manager will take ownership of grid and gantry inspections, supporting productions on a day-to-day basis and ensuring all systems remain safe, compliant and production ready.

Duties as Rigging Manager will include:

  • Carrying out weekly inspections of grids and suspended scaffold systems
  • Producing reports and flagging any health and safety concerns
  • Advising productions on safe and effective use of rigging infrastructure
  • Supporting clients with technical queries related to rigging and access
  • Liaising with internal teams and external contractors when required
  • Contributing to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of studio spaces

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Rigging Manager role, you will hold a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection qualification (or be very close to achieving it) and have experience inspecting suspended scaffold systems. Experience within film, TV, live broadcast or similar fast-paced environments is highly desirable.
