This advert is hiring at two levels, with the Venue Sourcing Operations Manager sitting senior to the Senior Venue Sourcing Account Manager.
Senior Venue Sourcing Account ManagerThis role focuses on hands-on venue sourcing, client relationship development, and proposal delivery. You will manage multiple briefs, negotiate rates, attend site visits, and build long-term client relationships while meeting financial targets. There is also line management responsibility for a Venue Sourcing Executive. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking and managing client briefs accurately
- Researching and proposing UK and international venues
- Producing creative, accurate proposals within SLA
- Negotiating commissionable venue rates
- Attending site visits and supporting pitches
- Building and growing key client accounts
- Meeting financial and commercial targets
- Adhering to ISO 9001 processes
This is a leadership and strategic role with full responsibility for the Venue Sourcing department. You will manage people, process, performance, and commercial outcomes while working closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and the delivery team. Additional responsibilities include:
- Department ownership and strategic input
- Line management of Venue Sourcing Managers and Executives
- Oversight of all briefs, proposals, and SLAs
- Financial management, forecasting, and reporting
- Driving commissionable revenue and departmental targets
- Senior client and venue liaison
- Database accuracy across UK, European & worldwide venues
- Industry engagement, venue relationships, and familiarisation trips
- Reporting into WIP, Commercial, and senior meetings
