Our client is a global business who specialise in supplying to the events industry! They supply water and temporary structures to events, festivals, concerts, sports events, cultural events, expos, exhibitions & trade shows, conferences and hospitality & culinary fairs such as the Olympics and F1. As a global market leader, they handle more than 1,500 events and projects every year.

THE ROLE

We are now seeking an experienced event sales manager to join this thriving business! As Sales Manager, you are responsible for the accounts of the most famous events and festivals throughout the UK. You will manage the sales of products and services within the event industry, acquire new customers, and maintain and develop the current customer portfolio. Ultimately, you are responsible for the commercial side of a project - from the first site visit to the evaluation of a project with the client. You will be creative in the rental process and can add more value for customers based on sustainability. This is a challenging position in the dynamic world of expos and events.

Reporting directly into the CCO, you will get involved in:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies that will drive business growth
  • Identifying new business opportunities and building a strong sales pipeline
  • Managing and nurturing key accounts, including complex, multi-dimensional deals
  • Representing the company at industry events, building brand presence and networking
  • Leading the preparation of proposals, tenders, and business pitches
  • Monitoring and analysing sales figures, reporting back to senior management
  • Collaborating with the project team to ensure smooth client handovers and service delivery
  • Strategic framework agreements, price agreements and negotiating with clients

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be a sales professional with at least 3 years of experience; flexible in working on several projects at the same time and is a driven team player with strong communication skills.
