THE ROLE
Owing to the exceptional growth of their team, this business is now looking for a Senior Technical Manager to join and work very closely with the Head of Production to lead the production and technical team in delivering audio visual solutions for expos, corporate events and live productions.
- Driving company development including streamlining processes and improving standards
- Oversight of technical teams in various locations as well as onsite
- Providing strategic and operational leadership of the technical department
- Oversight of all technical projects and ensuring excellent quality
- Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance onsite technology
- Managing and directing workload for the technical department
- Stock/inventory management
- Reporting back to the senior leadership team
- Managing P & L for the department
- Client management as required
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this Senior Technical Manager role, you will have proven expertise in managing technical departments within the events sector. You will be a people person and able to engage effectively with internal teams, global clients and stakeholders. In addition, experience in developing and managing budgets is a must. This role will require international travel which may make up 30-40% of the position.
