As part of continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and versatile Event Video Engineer to deliver exceptional visual production across a wide range of live, virtual, and hybrid events. This is a hands‑on role suited to a proactive technician who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a fast‑paced live events environment. The Event Video Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the highest technical standards across all projects, contributing to the delivery of engaging and innovative event experiences. Working closely with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and freelance crew, this position offers fantastic variety and progression opportunities within a growing organisation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Rig and operate vision equipment for live, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the technical production team.
  • Lead freelance crews on‑site and represent the company professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, venue staff, and internal teams.
  • Prepare, maintain, and test equipment within warehouse facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Vision to develop and improve the Vision department.
  • Operate and configure presentation switchers, screen management systems, and video playback solutions.
  • Support the setup and operation of LED screens, projection systems, and live streaming solutions.
  • Deliver and collect equipment using company vehicles.
  • Support other technical departments as required to meet business needs.
  • Ensure equipment is presented to the highest standard at all times.
  • Work flexibly across evenings, weekends, and varying event schedules.

The Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Vision Engineer or AV Technician within the live events industry, ideally within the corporate sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Barco Event Master screen management systems.
  • Experience operating presentation switchers and video playback software.
  • Knowledge of modular LED screen systems and associated processing.
  • Experience working with Panasonic projectors.
  • Understanding of live streaming platforms and video communication solutions.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider technical team.
  • Professional and polished personal presentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability under pressure.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to lead by example.
  • Customer‑focused with a proactive and can‑do attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in equipment presentation.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own transport.
