The Company
This iconic venue offers a flexible and unique space that caters to events of all shapes and sizes. This allows for a diverse portfolio of clients to utilise the unique space for an incredibly varied selection of events from corporate exhibitions and conferences through to large scale sporting events and creative seasonal activity. With a highly experienced internal team across event management, hospitality, concierge, marketing and front of house services; this venue offers an incredibly supportive and collaborative environment with their people at the forefront of their operations. There is now an amazing opportunity for an Events Manager to join their team.
The Role
This Events Manager role will be responsible for leading on the logistical and operational delivery of a varied range of events within the venue.
Responsibilities
- Taking client briefs to understand event objectives
- Handling client liaison throughout
- End to end event management
- Guiding timelines of each event project
- Delivering multiple projects simultaneously
- Working closely with in-house teams including hospitality and front of house services
- Collaborating with external preferred suppliers where appropriate
- Communicating operational plans for each event to the wider team
- Managing event budgets and overseeing cost management
- Leading on the day delivery and post event feedback
The Candidate
Candidates will have proven end to end event management experience of corporate event projects along with experience in being the main client contact. Whilst a large scale venue background would be preferential, applicants with strong event delivery experience from other environments such as an event agency or industry association may also be considered. We are looking for proactive and passionate individuals who have a flexible approach to work as out of hours and weekend work will be required for this role.
