This global, independent, creatively driven experience marketing agency is a recognised leader in B2B event and technical project delivery. Partnering with world-leading brands across technology, software and IT, they deliver technically ambitious live, hybrid and virtual experiences on a global scale. With fully integrated in-house teams across technical production, digital, creative and design, the agency delivers end-to-end solutions for events ranging from large-scale expos and conferences to product launches, exhibitions, roadshows and experiential campaigns. Known for technical excellence, innovation and consistency, the business continues to grow through long-standing client partnerships and major international programmes.
Due to continued growth across existing accounts and new business, the agency is now seeking an experienced Technical Producer / Technical Project Manager to take ownership of the technical delivery across multiple projects. This role will suit someone who thrives on planning, coordination and execution, acting as the central technical lead throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning the technical delivery across multiple live, hybrid and virtual projects
- Translating creative briefs into detailed technical plans and solutions
- Leading technical scoping, feasibility and budgeting from project outset
- Creating and managing production schedules, technical workflows and critical paths
- Coordinating internal teams across production, creative and account management
- Selecting, briefing and managing technical suppliers and contractors
- Managing risk, troubleshooting and ensuring delivery against timelines
- Overseeing Health & Safety compliance across all technical elements
- Managing technical budgets, cost control and post-event reconciliation
- Providing hands-on on-site technical leadership for UK and international events
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in technical project delivery, gained within a production agency, technical supplier or similar environment. You will have proven experience managing complex, multi-layered projects with confidence, combining technical knowledge (AV, lighting, staging, build) with excellent planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills. You’ll be comfortable working at pace, managing multiple workstreams and suppliers, and acting as the technical authority for both clients and internal teams. Experience delivering conferences, expos, large corporate events or global programmes is highly desirable. Candidates currently working as a Technical Producer or Technical Project Manager will be particularly well suited.
