Hybrid: office, workshop and remote. Seven-figure trade show builds across the US, Europe and the south of France, a roster of global blue-chip brands, and a certified B Corp agency where high margins fund serious ambition. The Head of Event Projects role here owns the full exhibition division and its delivery platform, built from the ground up, direct to founder.

Shape and lead a growing exhibition division with full strategic ownership:

  • Six major projects annually, collectively worth £6-7m
  • Direct founder partnership with no corporate layers above you
  • Full flexibility once embedded, office around once a week
  • Flexible leave policy, cash-focused package

The Company:

A certified B Corporation and London-based brand experience agency, with a focus on quality over volume and profit margins that reflect it. The business delivers trade show booths, exhibitions and brand experiences for a roster of global blue-chip clients, across the UK, Europe and internationally. Independent, self-managing and growing, with a larger production facility in progress and a Head of Event Projects brought in to lead an expanding projects division to match.

The Role:

This is a new senior role created to give the exhibition function the heavyweight leadership it needs: the Head of Event Projects owns delivery across every project, builds and runs the project management team, and takes full ownership of a new process and platform being built from the ground up.

  • Own delivery across all projects: budget, suppliers, logistics, build and close-out
  • Build and lead the project management team as the division grows
  • Design and implement a new end-to-end project delivery platform
  • Manage supplier tendering, vetting, performance and spend
  • Hold margin on every job, reconciled at close-out
  • Ensure quality at every stage, including pre-despatch from the workshop

The Candidate:

The right candidate has a track record of delivering complex trade show and exhibition projects at scale, including high six-figure and seven-figure builds at international shows, and has managed project managers or senior coordinators to do it. Experience that prepares someone to step into a Head of Event Projects position covers the full supply chain: structures, graphics, AV, furniture, logistics and labour, with the confidence to hold contractors to account on site.

Someone who has spent time inside a large exhibition agency or as an independent consultant will find the move here compelling. If the bureaucracy of a bigger business has started to outweigh the work itself, this is a different kind of opportunity: one where systems thinking and digital-first project management are genuinely valued, and where the person who builds the process owns it.

The Head of Event Projects is a rare opening: genuine authority, a founder who backs decisions and a business built to support ambitious delivery.
