Job Description Hybrid working: 2 days in office, 3 days onsite High-profile festivals, major music venues, flagship outdoor events across the UK calendar, and an Events Operations Manager role where you are both the strategic brain and the onsite lead. A small, non-corporate team in central London, overtime paid, decisions made fast! High-profile festivals and major venue events for your portfolio Hybrid split: office strategy plus hands-on site leadership Overtime paid or taken as TOIL Well-equipped central London office: café, showers, weekly essentials shop and regular socials Specialising in traffic, transport and pedestrian management for events, this consultancy handles everything from initial planning to live deployment across festivals, music venues, sporting fixtures, corporate events and agricultural shows. It is a focused, full-time outfit where decisions move quickly and the work speaks for itself. The Events Operations Manager is the link between planning and delivery: taking briefing documents and operational plans into live site environments, directing large casual teams, and holding client and stakeholder relationships throughout the event cycle. Oversee on-site delivery across a varied portfolio of events, ensuring plans are executed to standard Lead, brief and support large casual teams on the ground Prepare operational plans, briefing documents, risk assessments and method statements Build and manage client and stakeholder relationships, including account management and quoting Attend SAG meetings and liaise with local councils and transport authorities Drive company vehicles to transport equipment to and from event sites Hands-on setup of event sites including signage, cones and barriers The right person for the Events Operations Manager position will have solid experience delivering large-scale outdoor or festival-style events on the ground, with a proven track record of leading casual teams of 20 or more through complex, fast-moving site environments. A valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points is essential, as is comfort working long shifts across weekends and the flexibility that live events demand. Experience in crowd and traffic management is a strong advantage, as is familiarity with SAG meetings, council liaison, or writing risk assessments and method statements, though these are beneficial rather than essential for any Events Operations Manager candidate.
