THE COMPANY

This creative technical production company is currently in an exciting phase of growth and expansion. They recently moved into a brand-new warehouse, invested heavily in new equipment, and are building their in-house projects team across all disciplines. They are now looking for a Junior Project Manager.

They work with a wide range of clients, delivering everything from festivals and exhibitions to ice rinks and award shows. Their portfolio is diverse and dynamic, with a passion for producing exceptional live event experiences.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our growing projects team. This role involves projects-based work in the office, warehouse, and on-site, with options for home-working where appropriate.

The Junior Project Manager will serve as a client-facing representative, assisting in managing projects of varying sizes. The candidate must manage their own time effectively and be confident in delivering projects from start to finish.

As a small, growing company, we need someone proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively, and willing to support all aspects of the workload, even outside normal duties. The role involves manual handling and customer-facing activities, so strong interpersonal skills, good personal hygiene, and a hardworking attitude are essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and long days is also required.

This role operates on a \'time off in lieu\' system, which will be largely self-managed around the events calendar.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing onsite project delivery, leading teams of internal and external staff and contractors, handling client briefs and communications, and assisting with equipment specifications and budget management.

They should have a strong understanding of sound, lighting, video, and staging solutions, with experience in both B2B and B2C communications. Proven success in delivering projects and managing skilled teams within a production environment is essential, along with at least three years\' experience in the events industry. Local industry knowledge and established freelance connections are highly desirable.

The candidate must be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, and a strong team player. A proactive, self-motivated attitude, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent customer service skills are required. A full UK driving license is also necessary.
