This Business Development Manager opportunity offers the chance to shape a corporate AV offering and make a visible impact from day one.

THE COMPANY

This is a growing live events, production and technical services business with extensive in‑house kit, warehouse facilities and a strong reputation across private and social events. As the business enters an ambitious growth phase, they are investing heavily in developing a corporate AV and production arm. Operating with a small, agile team and a hands‑on leadership approach, this is an environment where a Business Development Manager can influence strategy, open doors and directly shape the future direction of the business.

THE ROLE

This position will focus on building and scaling the corporate AV side of the business, targeting agencies, venues and end clients across London and the South East. The Business Development Manager will have autonomy to create and execute a sales strategy, supported by technical and operational expertise internally. Duties as Business Development Manager will include:

  • Winning new corporate and agency business through proactive sales activity
  • Building relationships with event agencies, venues and corporate clients
  • Securing contracts, tenders and preferred supplier agreements
  • Identifying opportunities to position creative production and technical solutions
  • Managing a full sales pipeline from outreach through to close
  • Helping to lay the foundations for future team growth within sales and marketing

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Business Development Manager role, you will come from an AV production, technical production or live events background, with a proven track record in new business development. You’ll be confident selling technical solutions, comfortable with cold outreach and motivated by building something rather than inheriting it. In return, you’ll join an ambitious and flexible business offering uncapped commission, long‑term progression, and the opportunity to play a key role in growing a corporate production division from the ground up.
