Due to continued growth, they are now hiring a Head of Venue Sourcing to lead, strengthen, and expand their venue sourcing function.
The Role
As the Head of Venue Sourcing (Operations Manager level), you will oversee the departmental strategy while ensuring high-level delivery. You will manage the team, refine internal processes, and act as a senior point of contact for key client accounts and global venue partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Leading the venue sourcing function and aligning it with broader business goals.
- Team Management: Overseeing and mentoring the sourcing team, including Venue Sourcing Executives and Account Managers.
- High-Level Briefing: Managing complex, large-scale UK and international venue briefs.
- Commercial Oversight: Negotiating high-value commissionable rates and meeting financial targets.
- Process Excellence: Adhering to and evolving ISO 9001 processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Relationship Management: Building and growing key client accounts and supporting high-stakes pitches.
- Site Visits: Attending international site visits and maintaining a market-leading knowledge of global venues.
